The full-time staff is supplemented by industry experts, consultants and engineers that provide specific technical expertise when needed.  Independent - Red Mountain has no ties to a particular technology or vendor, and provides recommendations based solely on the basis of our research, analysis and understanding of community culture and traditions. We offer a unique approach in that we function as independent, objective advisors for our clients, and do not represent equipment providers or have a financial interest in energy equipment sales.

Our experience working with tribal communities on energy projects

Red Mountain’s recent renewable energy assignments have included siting and permitting of conventional and renewable energy project locations; financial modeling and identification of key incentives needed to achieve the lowest possible energy costs and maximum returns; development and partnership negotiations, lease and option agreements;  other necessary project development contract support activities; as well as managing and conducting due diligence activities.  The majority of tribal energy projects evaluated are currently in development.

Red Mountain understands environmental regulations and reviews, and has the community outreach skills necessary to successfully work through compliance and mitigation;  has knowledge of and experience with various project ownership structures necessary to leverage available incentives for projects on private and public lands as well as Tribal lands, and  has both conventional and renewable energy project financing knowledge and contacts.
